Michael Brandon Michael Brandon, owner of Christopher-Michael Salon & Spa, arrived in the beauty industry in 1993. Nicolas Studios, Gary Gerrard Academy, Graham Webb Academy, and Wayne Powers (Creative Powers) are among the cutting technique courses he has attended. His extensive work with Goldwell, Inc. has been a substantial factor in his color specialist status along with his continual growth as an educator in his field. As owner of one of the elite salon and spas in the SF Bay Area, his core belief in creating a company that is looked upon as a leading entity in the beauty industry is having a true appreciation for each individual customer that visits Christopher-Michael and the incredible staff that keeps them coming back.
Jenny Mui Jenny has been with Christopher Michael Salon & Spa since 2000. Prior to her career here, she graduated from Castro Valley Cosmetology School. Rather than working immediately after graduation, Jenny decided to continue her education in Long Beach, California at the Toni and Guy Advanced Hair Dressing Academy. While attending, she learned the true artistry in advanced hair coloring and precision haircutting. After graduation from the Academy, Jenny then returned back to the Bay Area and made not only a career, but also a home at Christopher Michael Salon & Spa. As of 2006, Jenny is also a network educator for Bumble and Bumble. The future brings much ho pe and success for Jenny and her team members. She plans to continue her growth in education and compassion, allowing her to excel to her fullest potential in this warm and inviting salon.
Melodie Roddy One of our most accomplished hair designers, Melodie, has been a part of our team since 2005, with 11 total years of experience in the industry. She arrived here from the east coast and is definitely making her mark. Melodie has done stage work, magazine work, and photography pieces. Her work will be featured in the upcoming 07-08 Warrior Girl Swimsuit Calendar. Melodie brings high energy and passion to our team and there is no shortage of fun in her chair.
Letitia Baxter Since her start here at Christopher-Michael in 2004, Tish has quickly become an “in-demand’ stylist. She attended the Graham Webb Academy in 2004 and continued on to take several advanced color technique classes including Corrective Color, Reds and Browns, and Blonding. Tish is also the salon executive for Graham Webb. Her positive and high-energy personality guarantees her clients a great time along with beautiful results from the styles and colors she creates.
Kristi Smith Kristi graduated from Dublin Beauty College in 2004 and immediately began to continue her education in coloring and haircutting techniques. She worked behind the chair for a year before joining Christopher-Michael team in 2006. Kristi is very passionate about the industry and is determined to stay focused to grow as a great stylist and colorist.
Mary Schutte Mary has been a stylist for 8 years. She has received Goldwell training in Kansas City, Missouri and Dublin, California and has attended advanced training at the Goldwell Headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland. Most recently, Mary completed Pureologist training and soon will become an educator for Pureology. Mary has also attended the Graham-Webb Cutting Academy in Carlsbad, California.
Jessica Navarro Jessica is an energetic stylist with a desire to make people look and feel good about themselves. She has been styling hair for numerous years, as it has always been second nature for her. While attending Paris Beauty College, she was also a hair model for Rusk hair products. She attended shows and was the recipient of their formal education program. Soon after graduation, Christopher Michael Salon & Spa became Jessica’s second home. Here at Christopher-Michael, she continues to receive advanced training from elite educators in the industry.
Ericka Govaer-Martinez Ericka is an experienced stylist who started in the industry in 1996. With an extensive education, that includes Goldwell Color, Color-Corrective and Cutting, she is highly motivated and takes great pride in her work. Along with her busy career, Ericka is married and a proud mother of two children.
Danielle Codde Danielle has been a stylist at Christopher Michael Salon & Spa since 2002. She has advanced education in Goldwell Color classes as well as Nicolas Cutting classes. Providing an experience that is fully satisfying to her clients provides the greatest fulfillment and satisfaction for Danielle. She plans to continue her education on an advanced level as well as continue her growth with Christopher-Michael.
Kelly Carrigan Kelly attended Paris Beauty College in 2003; upon graduating she attended Toni and Guy’s advanced academy cutting classes. She started with the Christopher-Michael team in 2004, where she worked for two years behind the chair. While working, she attended advanced Goldwell and Graham Webb education classes before moving to Southern California to further her education. She trained and worked at Toni and Guy’s Newport Beach salon as a color specialist for a year. While working for the company she received extensive color training while getting to assist behind the scenes at photo shoots and their advanced academy where she worked alongside teachers she had years prior. Upon her return to the bay area, she spent 5 months working as a colorist in a San Francisco salon receiving training in L’Oreal and TIGI color. She recently returned to Christopher-Michael and soon after became certified to perform Balmain hair extensions. Kelly enjoys doing creative color and highlights as well as styles. She is a stylist who is always pushing herself and her skills with on-going education.
Ashley Watkins Ashley has been a part of the Christopher-Michael Salon and Spa team since January 2005. During her time here, she has integrated herself into every aspect of the hair industry. Ashley began here as a client coordinator and quickly decided that she had found the right place to advance her career. After completing cosmetology school, Ashley worked as an assistant to Jenny and Marisa, but swiftly moved into a position as a full-time stylist. She has undergone extensive education with Goldwell, Pureology, Elevate, and Nicolas. Her experience and knowledge in both customer service and modern style have propelled her into a position as a mindful, successful, and in-demand stylist.
Chrystal Hill Chrystal has been working as a massage therapist at Christopher-Michael since 2004. She attended massage school and got her degree at ASMT (Arizona School of Massage Therapy. Before coming to Christopher-Michael, Chrystal ran her own out-call massage business in Arizona, but then moving to California, she decided she would enjoy the salon and spa environment more. Appreciating her coworkers support and the great working environment they create, she loves to come to work everyday. Outside of Christopher-Michael, Chrystal enjoys working out, hiking and spending time with friends. She also has a full-time job at Starbucks right next door to the salon, so when she is not here you can always find her there.

Jessica Olsen Our Latest upstart has already proven herself to be a great choice for our team. She is currently an assistant to Tish, however, she seems to handle Melodie and Michael’s needs wonderfully when called upon. Jessica has attended several classes including Elevate, Pureology, and Goldwell. She is starting her career with a solid foundation.

Kim Erzen Kim has been with Christopher-Michael since 2004. She is the happy mother of 3 children and enjoys being able to spend time with them and take family vacations. Kim is always working to perfect her techniques. She loves to take care of people and make them feel and look beautiful. Kim always gives a 110% when it comes to taking care of her clients. People are always telling us, “Kim gives the best pedicures!”

Monica Toledo Monica first joined the Christopher-Michael Team in July 2001. She started in the industry as a makeup artist and then discovered how intrigued she was with the skin care aspect. She then pursued her license as an esthetician and found a career that brings her much fulfillment. At Christopher Michael Salon & Spa, Monica performs a variety of treatments and has advanced training in MicroDermabrasion, advanced peels, waxing and makeup application. When she’s not at work, her days are shared with her husband and two children, who complete her life and keep her content. Monica enjoys working in the warm and inviting atmosphere at Christopher-Michael and has found much gratification in the skin care field. She plans to pursue her advanced education in this ever-changing field to give her clients the most up-to-date treatments possible.
Monique Nicole Morineau Monique Nicole has been a massage therapist with the Christopher - Michael team since October of 2005. She was awarded with the Diploma of Massage Therapist and Holistic Health, as well as completed certification for a variety of massage techniques at Silicon Valley College. Currently, she is pursuing a degree in Health Science. In addition, she would like to further her education and seek a Master's to become a licensed physician. Monique Nicole is passionate about assisting her clients by educating them on preventative health methods in order for them to benefit from a stress free environment. Massage therapy has allowed Monique Nicole to service her community. During 2003-2004, she provided complementary massages to raise funds for the Okizu Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides a therapeutic camp for children and their families faced with cancer. As Monique Nicole paves the road for her future goals she also allows the opportunity to play, whether that implies painting murals, rock climbing, food and wine tasting, or at a bonfire while playing a djiembe with family and friends.
Teri Tomasini Teri has been with Christopher-Michael since the beginning. She has been happily married to her husband, Blair, for 20 years and is the mother of two very active children - Krysta a 16-year-old junior in high school. She plays Softball competitively and for the high school. Krysta also plays basketball for the high school. And Jarred a 14-year-old freshman in high school. Jarred races dirt bikes and hopes to race professionally one day. Jarred also plays football for the high school. Teri enjoys watching her children perform in their sports. She has been a bookkeeper for at least 25 years and could not imagine doing anything else. Teri loves what she does, were she works and the people she work with.

Zoey Brandon - Entertainer Zoey is an energetic, fun-loving, nap-happy, smile bringer. She is an exotic breed of Chihuahua and Gremlin (Michael is her adoptive father, we believe Gizmo could be the biological father). She specializes in keep away, tug-of-war, and generally charming everyone who meets her. She's constantly learning new ways to play, finding new toys, discovering new friends, and bouncing around like a rabbit. She's currently striving to achieve incredible new personal heights (almost potty trained!) Zoey has been a part of the Christopher-Michael team since July '06!
